Día 3
Hoy hemos estado en el barrio de Kreuzberg, situado entre el este y el oeste de Berlín. Le llaman también el Berlín turco.
No tiene nada que ver con Mitte. Éste es un barrio más popular, donde se mezclan distintas nacionalidades, viven la mayoría de estudiantes y gente alternativa.
Esta mezcla se respira en la calles, y en sus locales. Es un barrio vivo, genial.
En una de sus calles, Oranienstrasse, se encuentra Luzia ( http://www.luzia.tc/), un bar donde se respira una atmósfera bohemia, muy popular en el barrio. Allí hemos hecho fotos de un botín Blues y una bota Hermosa, entre sus muebles viejos y sillones desgastados.
También hemos estado en un taller que rescata cajones vintage y con ellos construye de forma artesanal, muebles nuevos personalizados. Nos ha gustado muchísimo y entre esos cajones hemos hecho fotos del botín Deia. ( www.schubLaden.de).
Otra costumbre que tiene la gente en este barrio, es ver el atardecer desde el puente, y subirse a los tejados. Además de en la calle, a los berlineses les gusta reunirse en los tejados. Nosotros hemos podido subir a uno de ellos para ver la puesta de sol desde allí.

Day 3
Today we have been in the district of Kreuzberg, between East and West Berlin. It’s also called the Turkish Berlin.
It has nothing to do with Mitte. This is a popular neighbourhood, were different nationalities mix, and most of the residents are students and unconventional people.
This mixture is breathed into the streets and in their premises. It is a fantastic and lively locality.
In one of its streets, Oranienstrasse, is Luzia (http://www.luzia.tc/), a bar where you can breathe a bohemian atmosphere, very popular in the neighborhood. There we have photographed the Blues’ boots and the Hermosa’s boots, among their old furniture and worn couches.
We’ve also been in a workshop that rescues vintage drawers and with them built handcrafted custom new furniture. We really liked it and between those boxes we have taken pictures of Deia loots. (Www.schubLaden.de).
Another tradition that the people in this neighbourhood have is to watch de dusk from the bridge, and go up in the roofs. Besides of the streets, the Berliners like to meet in roofs. We have been able to upload a one of them to see the sunset from there.
